Building a stronger, more diverse construction industry for the future

In 2020, the Madison Area Builders Association, the Metro Builders Association & NARI of Madison joined forces to create the Women in the Construction Industry Wisconsin (WICIW) group to inspire, promote & support women in the industry.

Since our inception, Women in the Construction Industry Wisconsin has focused on giving back to women who want to join the industry. In 2024, WICIW awarded (for the first time) scholarships to four deserving young women from Madison College and Waukesha County Technical College.

​

The WICIW Board of Directors includes accomplished women from throughout the greater Milwaukee and Madison areas and in all disciplines of the construction industry.
